To view a study that seeded the NCAA Tournament fields based on academics and diversity... Click on "Released Wednesday" in the second paragraph of the below link for the academic study bracket. The study focused on team Graduation Success Rate (GSR) and Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores, GSR gaps between white and Black players, and the racial or gender diversity of head coaches. The men’s No. 1 seeds included Villanova, Michigan State and West Virginia, while Colgate, Connecticut and Alabama joined Gonzaga as 2-seeds. Among the Final Four teams, Baylor and Houston were each 6-seeds while UCLA, a No. 16. Drake is a 13 seed. https://www.yahoo.com/news/study-michigan-stands-academics-based-201514252.html

+xNot sure if this is an April Fool’s joke, but I’m seeing reports of Roy Williams retiring at North Carolina It’s from the university so it appears legit. Depending on where they go, this could have a real knock on effect on multiple jobs.

I gotta think that UNC will hire an established, big name coach. Would Mark Few finally leave Gonzaga for this job? Scott Drew at Baylor? Giacoletti?

People on the Minnesota board seem to think that Liam will be moving on again. His uncle is apparently a favorite for the Utah State job. Doubt Liam would follow him there, but you never know. Liam just deleted his twitter recently, so something's probably up with him.

In other coaching news, Chris Beard leaving Texas Tech to go to Texas. You don't see coaches move to another job in same conference very often.

Well, if Laim comes back to the Center of the Universe, DT will need to quit calling him Dorkwad.

Good call on Mark Few, would be interesting to see if he’d jump for UNC.
My bet is on Roy making sure a former assistant gets it, like Hubert Davis

Hubert Davis makes a lot of sense to me, especially because he's already on staff there.

Illini freshman 6'3" guard Adam Miller is transferring. Hard to figure that one out, because he was getting time and has a great future there. Really good player who got big time offers out of high school. Although he played at Morgan Park, I think he came from Peoria, so he's familiar with the Valley. Total long shot, but he would look really good in Bulldog Blue about now.

I can definitely see Yesufu ending up at Illinois, but in no way can I see Miller coming to Drake. He'll be looking for another P5 school. Folks on the IllinoisLoyalty board think Miller's parents were behind his decision.
