Sounds like everybody should be back. The future looks real bright.

Roman D. J. Tank Mell Brodie
Joe Jonah Sturtz Tucker Issa
that’s a hell of a second unit if everyone comes back and can stay healthy. Will be interesting to see how the reserves develop.

Assuming relative normalcy, any rumors on an MTE? Would be nice if not sucking could improve their holiday destination.

One thing that worries me is that I'm not sure you can tell Joe he's coming off the bench after that stretch he just had.

Next year, Bulldogs will the hunted, rather than the hunter.
Expectations should be real high.

+xOne thing that worries me is that I'm not sure you can tell Joe he's coming off the bench after that stretch he just had. Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised if he or Penn is starting at a 2 guard next year. Coach has some decisions to make if everyone is, in fact, coming back.

Agree about Joe. How do you tell a guy who averaged 25 a game in the tournament and had a few 30 pt games he’s going back to the bench. We can’t afford Joe to transfer out. Love both he and Roman but that’s going to be a tough conversation. We are loaded for next year.

Yeah that will be interesting to see how they approach the Joe situation. I don’t really know what the right answer is.

Roman and Joe shared the floor quite a bit even at full strength. I think they might keep the starting five the same but obviously Joe will get his minutes.

Regardless it should give DD the opportunity to play that high pace Creighton style that he has always wanted to. Hopefully they really turn it up on defense. Maybe give it a really pretentious name like other schools have done, 40 minutes of hell etc etc 😆

I just really think we are losing a couple, would guess Noah leaves and one of Murphy or Hemphill goes to Europe, maybe Jonah leaves too. Also going to guess Conor ends up playing just enough to redshirt and Tucker will be in the rotation. Okay and Ferguson will play more as well. Two years from now is when it gets interesting for me. Can't imagine Okay, Bryce, Ferguson, and Jordan would all be good with little if any minutes.

i think next yr you basically just have a 3 man rotation at guard spots between penn wilkin and joe with all 3 playing together some too. if all 3 can play 28 to 30 minutes a night thats great. Not having to play guys 35+ minutes a night is going to help keep guys fresh. So those 3 getting most of guard minutes, Tank, Tucker, Murphy, Sturtz getting the forward minutes, Brodie and issa getting C minutes. Thats pretty darn good squad. Still have guys like ferguson, okay, burns, etc developing and fighting for minutes. I dont see noah or jonah coming back unless they are content not playing much. Would be great if they did though, can never have enough depth.

Not just the players but I am excited to see the player development, especially the bigs. Today we saw Darnel has a very good first step. Next year, with some footwork development I think we'll see the next pieces, leading to up and unders, pivots, and curls, exactly the kind of moves needed today to score over a tall athletic big. Issa and Nate will also improve. They will learn how to establish positions, hold their base, and maybe even a few basic moves. I think the play at the 5 will be the biggest change for next year. That and maybe some more consistency from three. DD has it going. Hunted or not, Drake is for real.

So I know what Drock has said, but this isn’t a confirmation of next year: https://twitter.com/thetankhemp6k/status/1373435000553627654?s=21
