There's no question that Drake can/will get invited to either the CIT or the CBI.
Do you want to see more basketball, or just call it a season?

A week ago, would have said no. Now I'm in, but I also understand if we say no.

Any post experience is good experience when you're young. I think it would be interested to see if, with fresh legs, they can play with urgency and intensity. Kill and destroy looks good in blue.

Maybe CBI if there are some decent programs in it. CIT? No.

+xA week ago, would have said no. Now I'm in, but I also understand if we say no. Agree to the no, especially if we were one and done in the tourney. But, after the showing this week, it would be interesting to see if the guys come out with some kind of renewed confidence that translates into better execution and over all performance on a fairly short turn around, hopefully resulting in a carry over to next year. These key guys next year will be mostly juniors. No ridiculous excuses next year. Hopefully, Joseph adds some speed and ball handling next year and Nate and Issa add some length, along with some improved shooting percentages from all three. So, yes, if they have a post season opportunity, I'd like to see it, if for no other reason than to see how they respond to the tourney performance. Of course, what we all say here doesn't mean a rat's a--, as far as what the staff and players want.

Well said 67. As long as the players and coaches want to do so (and when do they ever not) and the AD can get the cash, I see no negatives.

Tough call. Although they lost today the season basically ended on an upbeat mood I think they should leave it there. Hate to go one and out to a mediocre team

What's this team's worse loss? Miami of Ohio? He$$, Kentucky, a three in pathetic Bracketology, lost at home to Evansville (OK, Aces lost their best player, but still), and lost giving up a 17 point lead to Tennessee (not great this year) in Lexington. Duke, also a three team, lost at home to S.A. Austin... Bracketology a 12. By the way, Austin has only three losses including respectable games @ middle of the pack Alabama and at Rutgers (11-9 in B10).
Think about it, every team will finish with a loss this season, but one. This Drake team, in a rebuilding year, was a 3-4 against the top three teams in the conference, Indiana State, UNi and Loyola. What's even more amazing, they could have easily gone 6-1. Drake learned against UNi they can press on the gas and finish. Can they do it again? I don't know. But, it sure would be nice to give them a chance with fresh legs.

Are we so sure we'd get an invite? We finished 8th in the conference. Wouldn't they want the 6 other non-UNI teams in front of us?
