+xHow's Liam match up with ISU-R's bigs? Nobody on the inside can play with Liam. Copeland is getting 14.3 pts a game. Fisher, Boyd, Hillsman each getting seven. 84th from three, but 204th from two... Drake is 77th from three and 84th from two. Idowu is not much of a scorer on the inside. Do a good job defending 3's. Good inside out, accurate passing. Good decision making.

Coaches said they worked on keeping turnovers down in practice. How exactly do you work on that in practice? Isn't a lot of it just the pace we play at, inexperience, bad passing, and silly mistakes? I've been thinking all season they need to work on it but I don't know what that actually looks like. Can anyone enlighten me?

I asked Coach Richter on Monday's radio show via email on Facebook. "How do you keep the tempo up and not turn the ball over? Coach Richter said, and I quote, “We did an interesting thing today in practice. It’s an old-school thing. We’ve got a toss back in the gym. So , if you turn the ball over you have to go back to the toss back and make 15 passes against the toss back while play was still going on. So, our guys have to learn how to throw to the guys wearing the right color jersey. We are blue and white… most teams are red, yellow, brown. We’re trying to have them pass it to the right color." Ha, I certainly didn't know this, uhm, "Old-school thing".

Even the upperclassmen don't have that many D1 starts or even games behind them. I do see individual and team development with this coaching staff that I haven't seen in years for Drake. Just keep on developing and hope they throw it to the guys wearing blue and white.

I know this has been discussed but maybe I missed it, why was the game postponed to tomorrow night when the event happened last night? Drake couldn't put the floor back down that quickly or what?

I suspect the opponent would not have anyplace to stay last night given every hotel in town was probably sold out.

There are plenty of rooms available. The debate is not that big a deal.
Moving forward.....

ISU hasn't won a road game. They won't Thursday either. Good luck.

The Bell Center primarily but also parts of the Knapp Center were used as the spin room for the debate. Typically (I don't have knowledge if this was the case here or not, but assuming it was something along these lines) the contract says you have rights to the room the spin room is held in until noon the next day. Tear down is a huge ordeal and can easily take 12-18 hours with everything involved.

Yeah the debate wasn't over until after 10 PM, I am assuming the spin room was pretty full until after midnight considering there were broadcasts there. There wouldn't be a huge window for teardown.
