3 PM Saturday on ESPN3.
Crusaders are 8–8 (1–2). They have a 3-point home loss to Loyola and a 63–50 loss at Southern Illinois sandwiched around an OT win at Evansville. They took Cincinnat to OT down in the Virgin Islands back in November. Javon Freeman-Liberty decided not to transfer and is averaging 20/5/3 which makes him first in points and boards and 2nd in assists. No one else is in double figures, except for Ryan Fazekas, who is probably out for the year.

What happened last year? Wasn't there some drama with issues that needed tissues after the season? I thought it was just Javon Freeman, when did he add the Liberty? ... and justice for all.

If we play like we played last night, no reason why we can't go 17-1 in the Valley this year.

Nobody’s going 17-1. I Bet the best team will have 5 losses. No really bad teams and everybody is tough at home

Agree. I see 5 losses winning the league. Win all your home games and steal 2-3 on the road puts you in contention. We were close at Bradley and kept the home court going in a big way last night.

Homecoming game for Roman, Jonah, DJ, and the twins. Wouldn't be surprised if there are a LOT of Drake fans in the stands

Don't forget DJ and I watched the game last year against them and they had a good crowd. With the snow storm

Need to keep turnovers at a minimum when separation has occurred. Just have to focus even more. Will be another good performance.

If we can figure out how to cut down on turnovers, we're going to be really good. Not sure we can though, the pace we play at might be a big part of it. Also, why are we so terrible at free throws?

I think maybe when up 10 or 12 call time out and re-focus on both offense and defense. Free throws, like shooting is practice.

After Saturday's game against Valpo, Drake will have played against all but one player on the updated All-Missouri Valley Conference Kenpom.com team. Congrats to Liam for making the list for the first time.

18-14 Valpo at the under 12 timeout. AP came in to replace Robbins instead of Ernst. Both teams taking a lot of 3s.

Can't turn it over and not rebound. Can get away with one but not both.
