Is there a reason the soccer team is playing games all over the place? Saw they are playing this weekend in Indianola. That’s bound to bring a big crowd. 😎

Cownie doesn't take water well, it's been a pretty wet year so I assume that's why.
Valley is one thing but going to Indianola is ridiculous. I know that Drake Stadium isn't ideal, but why not use it as a backup? At least then you could draw some students.
The Cownie usage seems worse every year, I wonder what it would cost to build a small stadium on campus (if they have the room).

Would really like to hear what the AD says about that. I know it’s been discussed in the past, and I know we have football, at least kind of, but UMKC has a great little on campus stadium. Cownie is a dump, not sure how much longer it’s even feasible to play over there. Guessing a soccer specific stadium would be way to expensive.

apparently Drake isn't wide enough for an NCAA match. (I know it's barely wide enough for the Menace.) Not a lot of alternatives for a Sunday.

Drake need an on campus facility. there is an old field next to the tennis center I think they played there at one time. There is that big file you pass by on 30th. If Krause gets that minor league stadium built, it would be nice if it could somehow be made with colors that would accommodate the bulldogs too. They definitely would need some tenants beyond the 16 home games for the minor league team. I'm not even sure when their season would be, but if it's not in the fall it would work out great.

USL Championship season is March through October with the playoffs running into early November. College season is August through November with the tournament running into December.

A couple of things. I thought Cownie was our home stadium? If so, why is it not always available? I'm w/Drakey, it makes a ton of sense to build an on campus facility, but I also know it's not cheap and where do the funds come from? If the new Stadium gets built in Des Moines, which sounds kind of iffy at the moment, I agree that it would be a perfect fit for the Dogs. Otherwise maybe they can start scheduling games in Oskaloosa or Granger or wherever else in Gods name they let them play.

Drake needs to hit up Krause for some funds since soccer is his life.

+xSir, those are referred to as hoops. Not in America. Also, they don't go all the way around with the adidas template so they're definitely not hoops.
