I saw this yesterday. Wow, really pulling for that family and will be in my prayers. It would be great if we could figure out a way, as the Drake community, to do something.

Molly is obviously a fighter and has been since birth. Hope the Cleveland Clinic can come up with an effective treatment solution. Matt and Jennifer should be applauded for guiding their family through these difficult circumstances.

I will fully admit that I sat at my desk at work and cried while reading the ESPN article. No child or family deserves to go through something like this. My heart goes out to Matt and his family.

I know the family well. If anyone has what it takes to fight this battle and prevail it will be Jennifer and Matt and little “”Mollypants”. I encourage everyone to participate in the GoFundme effort, found earlier in these posts.

No shame Media, I’m still wiping the tears away. I have a daughter with health problems and it’s awful. God speed to the Woodleys.

My daughter's sister-in-law is a neurologist at one of the top hospitals in the Midwest. Not only does she treat patients, but she monitors most of the neurological surgeries at the hospital. I saw her yesterday at a family gathering and was telling her about Molly as best as I could remember her situation. She said that she would like to read the article, so I gave her the ESPN info. Anyway, what she did tell me was that Cleveland Clinic was excellent and that they had a top notch neurology department and staff, and that Molly will be in good hands. Here's hoping that all goes well.

Day 351 - Part II - Molly has been having an
extremely difficult time coming off her rescue meds and was given an anti-psychotic medication often used for schizophrenia, which hopefully will serve as a sedative for the time being. Probably greedy, but needing some extra positive juju for our girl to get through this awful night - we need our sweet, funny, loving Molly to come back to us - it’s been a tough one - Much love to all in return. 🦋💕🙏 #mollylives #lovethislife Matt Woodley Jt Woodley

Little Molly is home and recovering from her ordeal at Cleveland Clinic. She has a break in her treatment but is still facing major surgery this summer. Matt drove Molly and mom (Jennifer) back from Cleveland , 11 hours, yesterday. What a courageous little girll!

That’s awful. We know first hand how devastating that is. Our son became a quadriplegic 10 years ago. Wouldn’t wish it on anybody I certainly hope it’s successful
