Montana will have a new coach when they face the Bulldogs September 8th in Missoula. Montana made a change today, as 8-5, 6-5, and 7-4 records were apparently not good enough to save head coach Bob Stitt's job. Former Montana coach Bobby Hauck is among the rumored candidates to replace Stitt. Hauck left Montana in 2009 to become the head coach at UNLV. He was dismissed after three seasons at UNLV, and has since been an assistant coach at San Diego State.
