Drake Relay's director Brian Brown and his wife, head track coach Natasha Brown, are both leaving to take jobs at her alma mater, Mizzou

to SHC of course! You know she will come thru!
Can't blame them for going back to Mizzou but too bad. I was hoping their kids would commit to Drake (gotta believe in their genes right) and maybe we could turn out some champions in the future.

As much as the move would be viewed as an advancement...I wonder if there is also a feeling of this being a defection...given their strong local ties.
Just DU it !

I'm sure it is so difficult for all these folks who are no longer with Drake to leave and move on. With the leadership, team bonding, and "The Drake Way", it's hard to fathom how emotionally grueling it must be to leave and not hear Sandy's Bull-sh-it on a daily basis.

Right. I'm not blaming THEM. I'm just wondering if the current state of things here helped their decision become an easy one...

You can bet it did. They might have even been nudged a little. This probably secures the Cheerleader in place for longer than wanted. Looks like I'm going to be a Hot Zoner fan for longer than anticipated. Wake up Marty! I you are smarter and better than this ...

Just heard today that head athletic trainer Scott Kerr was let go on Sept 9. Normally employees with 34 years of service are appreciated, not pushed out the door. This is the Drake way under SHC. Maybe all these MBB season ticket holders that didn't renew are causing some financial strain for the athletic department. I know one area where they could eliminate a 6 figure salary & we would all be better off. Let's hope she leaves sooner, rather than later!

So recently under Sandy's watch we've mysteriously lost the Women's Tennis coach, the Men's Soccer coach, the assistant AD, Drake Relays Director, the Track Coach and now the athletic trainer. Who's next? Will she fire Morrison?
I pray to god we mysteriously lose our Athletic Director next.

How crazy that the Brown's might leave for a bigger school and better job at their alma mater!

No great explanations, but how many programs do you think don't experience this level of turnover? Maybe they were tightly grouped, but I'd venture to bet this isn't that far out of the ordinary.

Scott Kerr bled Drake Blue, or at least he did. Why after 34 years @ Drake, at age 58, would he decide to leave, with no new job lined up? It doesn't make sense. Brown's & Pucher had accepted different jobs when they left Drake. They're the exception, the rest were pushed out the door by SHC.
There was talk @ a recent wedding reception, with many Drake fans in attendance, about Frank Pucher being a good candidate for the AD job, if it ever comes open.

Does anybody have nay information on the apparent dismissal of Kerr? This is pretty significant, and seems like an absurd move unless there is something we don't know. I have heard he was very knowledgeable and good at his job.
