Per twitter, Drake has offered Brady Ernst, a 6'8" forward from Clinton.

Found this online. I think I saw Schlatter in a few of the clips. This kid is athletic and can step out and shoot. Would be a nice get for Drake.

I am guessing the staff wanted to spend more time on 15's early, but due to first year, they had to hump it to get 13's and 14's in the bag. Offered by UNI, Drake, San Diego and a Dakota this early is good! Brady is a player. Hopefully the Barnstormer Connection, coupled with Coach Jack and his "Plan" will send Brady our way :)

Don't know what the current temperature is between Coach and Brady Ernst but this young man has blown up with offers in the last month or so. I was told this morning that his girlfriend made a verbal commitment to Drake for volleyball in early July. Last couple of weeks he has picked up offers from Bradley, Ohio, Illinois State, Bowling Green, Stephen F. Austin, and more.

Does anybody other than Armchair(who will be accused of some recruiting violation) know what has become of Brady?

According to this article Brady will choose between Florida Gulf Coast and Bowling Green after the season is over.
"RECRUITING TALK: Clinton 6-foot-9 post Brady Ernst had more than a dozen Division I basketball offers this fall. Ernst has narrowed the list to two schools — Florida Gulf Coast and Bowling Green. Ernst plans to make a decision after the season"

DUBulldog (6/25/2015) Just read that he's going to Iowa State....not sure if walking on or scholarship.Hearing scholarship. ISU is desperate for a post, and Prohm realizes it. Almost everyone stopped recruiting him awhile ago, unless you ask ISU fans, who'll likely say they beat out Drake, UNI and Iowa (who never even offered) because recruiting sites don't update worth a damn.

They have almost no depth. Here are their eligible players for next year: Morris Noskowiak Thomas Long (coming off hip surgery) Cooke (coming off hip surgery) Burton (not eligible until mid-December) Niang Nader McKay Tsalmpouris (if he decides to come back) Ashton (walk-on) Greder (walk-on) if Tsalmpouris doesn't return they'd be looking at 9 scholarship players, only 8 of whom are eligible at the start of the year and only 6 of whom are healthy.

Not sure if ISU beat out any current offers for him. He had narrowed it down to Bowling Green and FGCU and I am not sure if those two were still on the table. He seems to be reasonably athletic for his size. After that, I would guess he has a long ways to go developmentally but I would have been curious to see what his recruitment would have looked like had he not gotten injured. Kind of similar to the Peter Jok recruitment except Jok was obviously more highly touted before his injury.

About 10 days ago, people from Clinton were on social media claiming he was in the process of selecting a juco program. The young man has certainly bopped up and down and all around on the recruiting radar, he must have something special or a Coach of the magnitude of Prohm would have never taken him, right? Could he be a red shirt candidate?

I think he has decent athleticism and length. Not sure he has anything special but I hope he does.
