I was about to say which hyperlink thing; but I saw your last post. When you click the button it asks for a link, then it wants you to type something. Anything as a sort of label; you can even put the link again.

I've had the same problem as McB.....I know how to fix it when I'm inserting a hyperlink, but the tags don't seem to come out right unless I go in and fix it every time.

this is what it looks like when I try to enter a hyperlink.....If I put an end bracket after 'url', delete the '=' sign and remove the bracket after .com, it works, otherwise no go.

You guys have the pressing the hyperlink button and entering a link part down, you just aren't closing the deal. After you do that your cursor will be sitting inside the brackets just type anything inside the brackets. So do this exactly. 1) Press the hyperlink button. 2) Type your link url. 3) Press the OK button. 4) Type anything, the url again or some text, anything. Don't move your cursor or click around just start typing right away. Your cursor will be in the right place. 5) Press the Post Reply button.

ok, that worked :) It's slightly different than on most other message boards I have used (where you type the link name in the same pop-up box as the URL).....
Now if we could just the quote function working properly, it would be perfect! :D

Quote works correctly in IE, at least it should:) I'll see about making both better. I view this site using IE from several different computers....and sometimes the quote function works right, sometimes it doesn't. It's not a huge issue, but it's certainly easier to read/understand messages when the quote boxes are showing up properly, rather than seeing the quote "tags" which is what often happens.

I am working on a new version for this fall with some changes:)

Maybe not. I opened your quote a few posts back and it started working. I tried the latest one and it didn't. This code has some javascript errors I've been working on fixing. Must be a few more to fix:)
