The allyoop count could be high for this one and could be the only thing keeping me awake through the whole thing. I think Tavion has something special for the fans in this game!

He’s in a boot using a scooter to move around in pregame. I’d say just from the looks of it he’s done.

Was the game not available on ESPN+ tonight? Not finding it when I search

Not sure what to take out of tonight's game.  Obviously a complete mismatch

Our top 7 pretty much did whatever they wanted against St Ambrose.

I was most curious to see what our 8th and 9th guy (Howard and Combs) could do.  

Mixed bag there.  They both scored 7 or 8 points.  Howard still doesn't look comfortable out there and Combs was an absolute turnover machine.

Looks like the 'dogs will be pretty much be playing 7 guys for the foreseeable future.

Luckily using 7 players isn’t unusual for Mac.

I was able to see the game on ESPN+ in Michigan. It's not much fun to watch such a non-competitive game even when we are on the winning side. I guess it was a good practice warmup for Kansas State.

If you have looked at Coach Mac’s past 15 or so seasons, you start to see patterns emerge. A point guard playing 40 minutes a game is a staple. A 7 man rotation is also a known trait of their teams. I guess to win at that rate, a person does have to do things differently than others to achieve that.

I disagree with that assessment.  I thought Combs played well.  He did have some TOs.  But so did Jackson and others.  He's new to the offense but his offensive production was pretty good.  Howard is a freshman,.  He had five rebounds and scored a bit.  Ben's offense depends on players understanding Ben's offense...which is complex.  Combs can get to the bucket, probably his strength.  He was trying to make the passes and prolly forced some that ended in TOs.  But he made the passes in the offense but they were errant. He'll get better.
