I missed Senior Day intros so I am not sure who walked/didn't walk, but here are the starters/rotation guys listed as Senior/Graduate. Drake's release for Morehead State said that they would honor "nearly 30 graduating players" but did not list them. Drake's roster lists 20 guys as graduates and 12 more guys as seniors. So perhaps some of the guys listed as seniors will return.
WR: Radocha, Johnson C: Krebs RG: Palmer RT: House TE: Rodriguez QB: Bailey, Ellingson RB: Cherwin FB: Stewart
Boyland is listed as a senior, but I believe he would be eligible for another year since he only played in four games this year (and in 2021, for that matter) if he wanted to pursue one. Like I said, I don't know who did senior day.
Washington, Platte, Day: who takes QB next year? Can/would Ellingson take a redshirt for 2021 or 2022?
LB: Adamski SS: Radocha FS: Zager CB: Hughes
Any chance that Claypool (nearly 1 sack per game and average 1 TFL per game on career) gets a/takes a shot at leveling up for his senior year?
Will Drake pursue any transfers? (They won't.)

A current coach told me he looked at a couple of transfers last year, and they ended up on scholarships at other schools. They are very picky on who they look at, and the results speak for themselves.

Was afraid of this considering the connections with the AD.
Not sure how much success he’ll have at UNI but it’ll sure hurt us to not have him around anymore.

UNI is in a pretty tough spot these days against the teams they are trying to compete against, especially the Dakota teams. They have a ton more money than UNI these days who has been hurt by all the budget cuts. He has his work cut out for him. Maybe they saw that he could do more w/less at Drake. I'm pretty confident we will find a good coach. AD seems pretty darn good at it!

With the House settlement cutting roster sizes to 105, there are going to be a lot of guys currently walking on at FBS schools without roster spots. In the past, Drake has sort of competed for some of those types of guys so it will be interesting to see how that shakes out for recruiting at Drake’s level.

Interesting news. I wonder why, after several decades, they made this decision. I don't expect Drake to play Ivy Leaguers in the postseason. As long as playoff matchups are regional...

Followers of the Gronowski family may be interested in knowing that young Mark has entered the transfer portal. He has also tentatively accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl, which would stick a fork in his remaining eligibility. So he has a decision to make. I'm thinking he might play another year in college...not to follow his SDSU coach to Washington State, but to become an Iowa Hawkeye.

Why would any qb with interest in playing the next level go to Iowa. Couldn't he just go to the UFL and have a better experience?
