He can shoot, 6'7 with some length, handles the ball in the open court, excellent passer, plus, good instincts!

15 minute interview with Tate on picking Drake. Per the interview, Tate's twin brother Ethan is going to wait to make a decision to see if any other offers present themselves, although Ethan "really likes Drake". Sounds like we may have offered a scholarship to Tate but not Ethan. https://youtu.be/3pF7DISiHPs

From Lawdog, the Weatherford, OK, sports media guy who interviewed Tate Sage following his commitment to Drake. I asked Chuck Ramsey (Lapdog) about the comparative talents of Tate and Ethan. Here's his take via email where he's included a link to videos of all the twins' games: "It was interesting that Tate mentioned a European style at Drake and he liked that style for his game. Tate being a true 6'7 swingman has a full set of skills and has handled PG duties frequently. Ethan is equally as skilled but maybe doesn't have the outside range as his brother. I think his defensive range is top class as well and he has excelled in h.s. and AAU ball with that long wingspan. D1 hoops might require some adjustment but I would like to see the brothers stay together. They are wonderful young men. Our games are all available on demand at http://wright.media/oneThanks Chuck"

Have I just missed this or is this new.
The mention that we are playing Euro ball.
What exactly is Euro ball? Positionless with bigs out on the Wing?

He said more of a "european style" which usually means a more mobile big. I'd think more like Avila or Krutwig style than Brodie or Liam Robbins. Lots of ball movement and cutting. Ball screens. Focus on skill and versatility.

More or less, including a mobile five, the team runs the Princeton offense on steroids; constant motion from all five players available for a pick and roll, leading to drive or dish.
I agree with Darth, for years defense was optional in Europe. I think the game across the pond has improved on the defensive end. Tate also said, this season he wants to improve his defense.
McB might be best known for his offensive efficiency, but you don't win so many championships without defense. Based on all the interviews, sounds like one does not play if they don't/can't play D.
