Just looked at the spring schedule for the first time.
Six teams are D2, D3 or NAIA. Most non-D1 I've ever seen on our schedule. Pretty lame. 

Just looked at it myself.  Arkansas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma St are good and Indiana and Purdue are Big Ten teams but they are at the bottom of the Big Ten.  NW Missouri, Washburn, William Woods, Southeastern Oklahoma, Iowa Central?  What kind of schedule is this? Maybe because of Kozlowski leaving pretty late in the process we ended up w/this? Very very odd schedule.

Getting blanked 0-7 by Old Dominion and then needing to go 4-3 to beat Creighton isn't promising at all. Creighton has always been trash at tennis. 

Creighton did beat DePaul. Missing Jarvis is hurting us. He’s so solid in the middle of the lineup.

Beat Purdue today, 4-3

Really needed that. Nice win.

Bulldogs beat Wichita State today.  I don't know if WSU is any good, but it always feels good to beat them in any sport.

Ridiculous. WTF is going on?

Well we're currently down to Illinois St in a match right now.  I think we've lost to them 4 times in 26 matches.  Having your coach resign right before the beginning of the season and then your new coach resign in the middle of the season is not ideal.  

Into the finals of the tournament after avenging an earlier loss to Illinois St. Beat them 4/0 tonight. Tall task against Denver tomorrow for a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Match is in Des Moines at the Knapp Center and the boys could use DLL the support they could get. If you’ve never been to a college tennis match it’s a lot of fun. Go Dogs!

Tennis I notice when looking up the current roster it only shows 5 players and they're all newcomers except 1.  Now I know we had an old team last year but surely not everyone has left? Or we can't update the site, which also doesn't surprise me.  

The drake_mten instagram just posted a story showing only 5 guys practicing. I see six on the roster online today.
Either way, that's not enough dudes for the first week of school.
Especially when fall tournaments start happening in September.
Anyone worried about the men's basketball team not filling all scholarships better look away from the men's tennis team, because this is "can they field a full team?" territory.

I also see no Fall schedule, such as the Drake Invite and other minor events.  Which is pretty clear why since we only have 5-6 guys on the roster.  Not sure what's happening but unless we bring in at a minimum 3-4 guys that we don't know about we won't be having a team in the Spring, or at least any kind of competitive one.  

Well there's still nothing on the website but I got an email telling me that Drake is having the Drake Hidden Duals this Friday and Saturday vs N Dakota, Omaha and Gustavus Adolphus.  Not sure  how you play 3 dual matches in 2 days w/6 guys.  Maybe we have more guys than we know about.
