Up next: Drake vs. #1 South Dakota State at Target Field in Minneapolis. Drake Athletics will be having a tailgate event at Fulton Brewing Taproom | 414 6th Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55401 at 11:00 AM. Griff II will be there. Gametime is 2:30 PM, Drake Alumni Section is 104. https://alumni.drake.edu/drakemeout-twin-citiesI don't have any expectation of doing well on the field, but I've never been to Target Field and it's a great chance for a nice weekend getaway. South Dakota State's Midco Sports is airing the game, ESPN+ will simulcast.

I wouldn’t expect drake to be competitive in this game, nor would I expect them to look as inept as they do.

Surprisingly, this was not the biggest blowout today. Portland State beat a little Bible school from Texas, 91-0. Hope the paycheck was worth it for both sides.

I see no reason to have a team if you’re not going to be remotely competent. It looked like they didn’t even attempt to cover receivers. This team has been terrible since Stepsister took over.
