A Youth Clinic will once again begin Drake Hoops Fest from 5-6 p.m. with the programming starting shortly after 6 p.m.

Music performance at 7 p.m. I thought last year's Bulldogs-centric activities went longer than 1 hr, but I could be misremembering. Still very much looking forward to this.

My "compliant" of the last one must have been heard, I thought it didn't progress fast enough. I'm liking what I am seeing now.

I actually agree with the shorter format. Anyone with kids can’t do much more than an hour, especially if they do the clinic at 5.

I like the venue change too

I’ve never been to one of these. Are they worth going to? Is there usually a scrimmage involved?

No scrimmage in the past. Usually run in, do some layups, then have a few contests. Theyve had 3 points contests wtih mix of mens and womens players and I think maybe a game of horse the first year? Its a small half court with places for players to hang out.
