First call Hardin makes has to be James McKie. One of the most impactful Drake tennis players ever, and the associate head coach at Tennessee right now.
Matt Frost just got hired at UNC Asheville, otherwise he'd be another option too.

Weird thing is... I don't know if it's even been announced that FGCUs current coach is leaving?
So I guess technically this is still a rumor.

Didn’t see this anywhere. Coach had done a great job here. Tougher than ever to win here. Back in the day our facilities were above average. Not so much anymore. Agree with you on the future hire. Let’s hope we can stay as successful as we’ve been.

Koz himself retweeted it so I guess that makes it pretty real even if the team sites haven't dropped a press release

Really hope McKie would like to come back and be a head coach. He’s certainly ready. Don’t think we could do much better.

No news on a new tennis coach? Bummer.

And of course when you go to the tennis website even though the page shows Koz has gone when you go to roster it still shows him as the coach.  Because of  course it does.
