For the second consecutive year, Butler will be getting a grad trasfer WR from Harvard. The latest was an all-Ivy kick returner. I doubt either guy is an Evangelical, which may have disqualified Drake from consideration.

As long as he was a blue-collar guy, Step would've been alright haha

Is Stepsis driving people away with his religious exuberance?

So Corwin is still with the team, although no longer a starter.

In the context of Bloss leaving coaching...Jerome Grey was mentioned. I couldn't make out the comment about Grey. Is he the new recruiting coordinator?

Another service trip to a foreign county is coming up in 2024. Details TBA. I'm thinking it will be Arkansas. ;-)

An article from Spring Game. Defense won 78-57. Was not a full Spring Game due to injuries. Offense still seemed to struggle on long drives, two minute drills, and short yard situations. Spring football wraps up for Cyclones, Hawkeyes, Bulldogs

+xAny more insight into the Spring Game? Another podcast has been promised. I imagine 1981dog will post a link on this board.

Does anyone know Todd Stepsis' contract situation (or does he have a contract)? Many D-I head coaches are routinely given initial five-year contracts. If that was the case with Stepsis, he is in year five. Thoughts?

There is no pint in playing at this level unless you are winning and have an exciting offense.

BTW, his younger brother Henry ('24) is a linebacker at Roosevelt. He is being recruited by Drake, Augustana, Grinnell and others.

Maybe he likes being close to home, having his family around, getting a quality education, playing football with his friends, and soon-to-be the pre-season defensive player of the year in his conference?

I think the post you were responding to was about Stepsis, not Claypool.
