Surprised Conor didn't make the all-bench team. As a redshirt freshman, can he still be on the All-Freshman team? Maybe he ended up there instead.

In my mind he's always being such an impact player, so I thought it was higher. If anyone is primed for a spot on the most-improved team next year, it's Conor! Bench to starter, RS Frosh to Soph, very excited for his development.

He might only average 4.3 but he certainly makes things happen when he comes in game. With assists probably account s for at least 10-12 points a game

Brodie most improved ? Probably correct and I try hard to like him but he is the most frustrating player I think I’ve ever seen

When are the big awards (PoY, First-Team, Second-Team, Honorable Mention) announced? I thought it was today, but if Drake is still having a practice in Des Moines today... maybe I'm wrong?

. Myron Medcalf ESPN has Tucker as POTY front runner. Would share link but couldn't get it working. Ended up just on ESPN or ESPN NCAA basketball homepage.

Many of us are still in therapy after the Giac years. But I submit the Phelps years were way more frustrating. To see talent on the floor unable to compete was very difficult.

I get the kanaskie years and all that but I’m just talking about optics I guess. I know he’s much better than last year I get all that. I guess it’s just all the short 5 foot shots he misses loose balls he doesn’t get and number of missed dunks. A 6-10 guy shouldn’t be missing dunks That’s just me. All That being said- I’m glad it looks like he’s back next year I think he’s a good guy. Going back to Kanwskie and Giac for sure it was very frustrating but it was a team effort then

Yes Harpo took over after Maury John left. Drake wasn’t the same after that. Ortegal did OK- winning the Commissioner s tournament and bringing Lewis Lloyd to Drake were the highlights. After that began the coaching merry go round that didn’t get righted until Tom Davis came, followed by Keno and his one year wonder. Then more struggles until stability of President Martin, AD Hardin and Coach DeVries. It’s great to have a winning program again. I remember going to games during the Kanaskie years and apathy was so rampant that no one stood up when the band played the fight song- I couldn’t believe it.
Here we go Bulldogs, here we go…

No doubt the Phelps years were most frustrating. He managed to screw up/ misuse many talented players. I still can not get over the frustration of the 2008-2009 season . That team was solid with Bucky Cox, Josh Young, Adam Templeton, Josh Parker, Brent Heemskerk, Ryan Wedel, Jacob Baryenbruch, John Michael Hall, Alex White and can't forget Phelps prize recruit Sean Jones.
