A few years ago I got an ESPN+ membership because I could get all the Valley games. Now it seems like I'm locked out of ESPN3 games all too often. Anyone know why they've switched away from all games on plus? I know I can watch on the computer, but I like to watch on TV

There is a free app for ESPN 3 to watch on computer.

It's complicated. When the Valley's ESPN contract was first signed, ESPN+ wasn't at thing and it was all ESPN3. Today's game was also picked up by MC22 further complicating it.

You should be able to watch ESPN3 if you have certain internet service providers, Mediacom being one of them along with a few pay TV providers including DIRECTV, Hulu Live, and a few others.

After this season and next the TV contract is up and I expect everything to be on ESPN+ on the new deal.

In reading the original post, sounds like he can get ESPN3, just not on his TV, like he can get ESPN+ (via an app on a smart TV).

I'm guessing this is all up to ESPN, and Drake and/or the MVC has no say in it.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I watched some of the women's game on my laptop today,  but DUBulldog is correct. I much prefer watching the Bulldogs on my TV screen via ESPN+. I'll be looking forward to the next TV contract.

Personally I have an Apple TV and it doesn't matter what ESPN it's on, it works. Have to be signed in on the ESPN app and through DIRECTV. I'm on Mediacom internet.
