It could be all he was saying was that drake came out on top.

Does he mean the seniors are ‘out on top?’

+xDoes he mean the seniors are ‘out on top?’ That's how I'm choosing to view it. Got my blinders firmly in place.

I also wouldn't read too much into the wording.

I'm done reading into every single word. Nothing but anxiety lies down that road. Just going to enjoy the rest of the ride!

The Athletic’s Sam Vecenie had this to say about Tucker in his latest Big Board article today:
“Drake’s Tucker DeVries isn’t a senior like [Furman wing Jalen] Slawson and has some time to figure out his game, but much like [Connecticut wing Jordan] Hawkins above, he is an elite movement shooter at 6-foot-7. The only issue for DeVries is that he is quite a deficient athlete in terms of explosiveness. He’s sharp and averaged 19 points on his way to the Missouri Valley Player of the Year award. I think he’d be my pick for the mid-major player most likely to carry his team to an upset win.”
Vecenie has Tucker at #67 on his big board; Drew Timme is at #65 and Kalkbrenner is at #70. No other MVC player is listed.

Very skilled around the basket, great passer, but unfortunately for him he's just not an explosive athlete. Crazy how some really really good college players games just don't translate to the NBA.

ESPN put together a mock draft of only ncaa tournament players. Tucker came in #49.

I don't think he will go to the NBA this year. He will get better at Drake and improve his stock. I also can't imagine, given his upbringing, that he is really ready to live the G League life.

+10000. I broke my own rule by even coming to this thread. We have a game Friday, hope Tucker stays focused on that a lot more than half this board

That was a good read. Tucker has certainly been scoring at all levels lately, and there is no shot he can't hit. Nice to read the kind words on Brodie. The guy has come a long ways, and though Avila can hit the 3 and such I'd take Brodie on our team over him any day.

Thanks for the link newdog!
Interesting to see his comments and Tucker’s high school teammate.
