Can't help but feel cheated when you look at the standings and realize we didn't get our subsidy for hosting Evansville :D

As of right now, our "Byes" (Evansville and Illinois State) have a 5-23 record).  If I wasn't so lazy I would check the other schedules to see how that  compares, but I gotta think that is hard to top.

Yeah, the schedule maker did Drake no favors.

First post...welcome to the board.  Your screen name is really familiar though, from many, many years back, before this board even started.

Drake only getting UE and Illinois State once would have been a boon if Drake had been in position for an at-large bid. Unfortunately they dropped their only two road games (and SLU and Richmond have underperformed). Also, Wyoming disappointed and as did BC/George Mason (so much that Drake played Tarleton instead). Instead of something like two Quad 1 (SLU and MSU) and three Quad 2 (Wyoming, Richmond, Paradise final) games Drake got one quad 1, one quad 2, and a bunch of Quad 3 games. 

(Maybe it was unintentional but I doubt it.)

The scheduling was definitely intentional for the reasons Lime mentioned in a prior post

MVC sets the conference schedule to help the preseason picks improve their NET.  

Which doesn't matter anymore. Should just schedule randomly, or do just the opposite to make sure your best teams are not playing Thursday.

Long time fan.  I used to post on ValleyTalk back in the day.  I have really got back into Drake basketball under the DD regime. Fun to cheer for a team that pretty much outworks everyone.

Almost got it. Valpo's byes are Missouri St. and SIU, Indiana St.'s byes are Belmont and Bradley, and Belmont's byes are SIU and Indiana St.
