Rich Byhre, 6'8" from Rockhurst

I know this is saying a lot, but with his build, Byhre reminds me of a pinch smaller, quicker/more athletic, Reink Mast.

Never seen him play, but we are an NCAA tournament team. Can we not do better than a guy from Rockhurst?

Evan Brauns and Saint Thomas are officially in the portal. Not sure how athletic Saint Thomas is but I would’ve liked to add him a couple of seasons ago. Saint I believe played with Hunter Sallis.

They said 170 transfers, most portal entries for one day.

Drake has reached out to St Francis transfer Landon Moore. Freshman 6’3” guard originally from Bloomington Normal averaged 13 pts, 3 rbs, & 3.5 assists. 38% 3pt shooter, 42% from field

Now that our season is over, I will say I am excited to see what dudes we can bring in for next year.
You'd think by now that playing for Drake would be appealing if someone is looking at us vs other mid-majors.

I think Drake offers a lot. Nice school and facilities. Team on upward trend with good coaches. I even think the MVC as a whole is on an upward trend so the chance to defend our arch Madness title is a great opportunity for any recruit.

And a chance to get us to the sweet sixteen.

Agreed Tennis, although I'll never underestimate players willing to go to bad p5 situations instead of mid-majors. This staff seems to be extremely patient and picky when it comes to the right fit for players to bring in. 

I will say the level of recruit being offered and seriously considering Drake seems to have risen. Just look at the two current commitments, both were flirting with 4-star status at some point. Will need to get to the Mountain West level of recruits before really taking that next step on the national level in my opinion. 

We’re as good as any Mountain West team except San Diego State.

If we can pickup 1-2 good wing transfers and another PG, I can really see us taking a Utah State step next year and playing our way in to the Tourney in back to back years.

Obviously I’d like to not play in the bubble and instead win Arch Madness, but back to back appearances is the next step this program needs
