Are the Tommies the new Dayton?  Drake can't even beat the old Dayton.  :unsure:

At 2-1 in the league, St. Thomas is tied for first place with Valpo.  The NCAA says they are too new to D-I to get a playoff bid.  Accordingly, the PFL might be represented in the playoffs either by a second place team or a team that would otherwise have lost a playoff tiebreaker with the Tommies.  Many games yet to be played.

There will be a familiar name at QB for the Toms.

Drake down by six at the half.  Offense is pass heavy, but effective.  Defensive backs need to tighten up coverage and contest more passes.

Drake loses, 26-14.  Team getting better in some areas.  Special teams not good.

I mistakenly said Valpo and St. Thomas were 2-1 in the Pioneer.  In fact, they were both unbeaten in the league.

Valpo lost to Butler today, so the Tommies are in sole possession of 1st place.  Playoff bid could be headed for a tiebreaker.

Is that 13 straight losses over two seasons?

Depending on how you treat the Stetson game, yes. I believe it was a PFL forfeit, but a no-contest by NCAA rules. I’m inclined to count it.

The Toms recently scored 49 in a win over San Diego.  They are now #25 in the coaches' poll.
