He will be the #1 pick for Fieldhouse pickup games.

Another QB the Bulldogs are recruiting is Kirk Francis, who had insanely high passing numbers at the 3A level in Oklahoma. Edit: as of late January, he has 4 FBS walk-on offers and 2 scholarship offers from FCS schools. I think he has taken Drake off his list. Edit: Committed to Tulsa.

Might want to go after some of his receivers too.

+xA good start. Vezza would be a perfect addition. Vezza recently added offers from Dayton and Northwestern (pwo), so I don't know what our odds are. Odds are not great now that he has a scholarship offer from New Hampshire. Edit: committed to New Hampshire.

Jenks was Ian Corwin's high school. As a high schooler, Corwin was a little smaller than Owens. Owens got some exposure on ESPN2 last October, as Jenks ended Bixby's 58-game winning streak. Good player on an excellent team.

+xIsaac Stopke (RB) - Lake Havasu, Ariz. The Arizona Republic named him one of the state's top-12 offensive players, based on 2,400 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns at the 4A level. At 6'0"/215, he's a north-south runner, much like Boyland. Yet after commiting in November (per his Twitter), his name was not on Drake' early signing list. Maybe things have since been worked out, and we'll see his formal announcement on Wednesday. Would hate for him to slip away.

Not a lot of new info here. The head coach, of course, had glowing reviews for everyone. He said that Kemanie Wilson is Drake's fastest recruit this year. Two QBs in this class...you'll see a decomitment noted earlier in this thread, from someone I thought would be a third quarterback. The Bulldogs signed an in-state kicker. There is a potential 31st recruit out there, who may or may not be Stopke. I don't think NCAA rules allow the coach to make too many specific comments. Reed mentioned Homecoming v. Valpo in October This would be a reboot of HC, I believe.
