Basten into the 1500 Finals. Finals are this Friday evening.

In the men's hammer throw, Anthony Barmes finished in 21st place and earned NCAA All-American Honorable Mention status. His second throw of the afternoon sailed 215'-1" (65.57m).

Those times are sick!  Congrats!!!

Daaaaaamn, Basten was totally in the mix but ran out of gas at the end. Was in third for most of the last lap, ended up finishing ninth I think.
I think that's like Second Team All American status?

Yes Sir, I saw video of him squeeze an inside lane victory at the last possible instant, craziness. Way to the rep the Dogs.  

Bosten placed 10th last night in the Finals of the Men's 1500 meters with a time of 3:47.19
The winner was Jonathan Davis - Illinois - with a time of 3:46.01

Isaac does not seem to perform well in tactical(slow paced) races.  This race(also slow paced) nor the NCAA race are indicative of his talent.  His prelim time was 3:38.92 over 8 seconds faster than winning time of the finals.

That's what I was thinking and wondered if it because the runner's bodies could not recover to run as fast?
