+x+x+xIf he wasn't still playing professional ball in Europe, I'd absolutely love to see Josh Young on the staff. Maybe DD can bring in a juco coach who can bring some players with him. Seriously tho, this is almost explicitly what I said to Urby. I'm noticing a pattern here. Get out of my head, bro :w00t: It's a scary place. Don't be fooled DUB, BRF is only going for brownie points

I don't think 4 stops in 4 years is a good look, no matter who you are or even if you might be considered a rising star. What can you prove by staying someplace less than a year except that 1) you didn't like the place you were at or 2) that you didn't produce what was expected of you.

I don't really think that's fair here as he went from a prep school to director of recruiting to assistant coach and now is moving to a school with an in demand coach who will likely get a big move next spin of the coaching carousel. Besides that, he was at Sunrise for 6 years before all this happened. Sometimes you just get a series of opportunities and you have to make the best decision for you.

Agreed. Can’t knock him too much.
I know there’s no connection to the current staff but I wonder if CJ Rivers would be ready to make the jump to assistant coach. He is in his second year as video coordinator at Loyola after two years as GA at Colorado State.

Assumed it would be Brady Ellingson but CJ would be interesting too.

I’m hoping we hear news of a new AC hire soon. Does anybody remember how long it took to replace Coach Blunt last year?

+xObviously not Drake related but Jay Wright steps down at Villanova One of the things to keep an eye on, i think there might be players leaving Nova as a result of Wright retiring, The caliber of players entering the portal will cause other players to leave the schools that the Nova players join. My point is, I don’t think the Nova players are on our radar, but the other players who see reduced playing time with Nova players joining their team, might enable us to pick up some very high caliber of recruits.

Let's replace him with 2 Jacob Enevold types.
