What's up with Jethro's BBQ?

Three things are certain:
+ Restaurant did not reopen in March as expected
+ No permits for remodeling are in the city's online file
+ No application for a new liquor license is on file (old one expires April 18).

Beyond that, it's unclear what the company's plans are. There has been no response to requests for comment.

Jethro's closed in December. At the time, it was announced the eatery was to be remodeled and then reopen in March.
It did not reopen in March. Nor is there any evidence of remodeling. In fact, there doesn't appear to have been activity at the restaurant in at least two months.
A UPS ticket on the front door has an early February date.

This had been the flagship restaurant for the Clampet Corner restaurant company started by Bruce Gerleman. Located at 3100 Forest, this was the first restaurant in the chain.
