After watching Alabama vs Iona .. Alabama is a step up from Belmont. Talk about length, quickness, and athleticism ... they appeared to get 5 stars and blue ribbons all around. Drake needs to find another gear and quick.

I'm not giving up on this year, and I love our guys...all of them.  But we just aren't in sync yet this year.  Too many poor passes, excessive dribbling, missed crib shots, poor free throw shooting and it seems only Penn, Mell, Sturtz and Tucker are bringing it.  We need much more from Brodie, D.J., Tank, Ayo and Ferguson.   Maybe some of our guys have been here too long.  In a way it will be refreshing to re-build off of Tucker next year.  But for now let's win tomorrow and Sunday!

Game will be on ESPNU. Both teams expected to win today and didn't. Frankly Alabama has more to lose than we do at this point so hopefully we can relax and have a good game.

This gonna be ugly. We've played one good half this year so far. The rest has been mediocre. This is not the team we expected to see so far. I like to be optimistic but Alabama got caught off guard last night. They are going to focused and hungry. 

Maybe caught off guard. Iona is very good tho. Their big guy is a beast on the boards and defensively but not great on offense. I actually think they would have better matchup for Brodie and the Bulldogs

I really wanted to post "WE WANT BAMA". However, I didn't expect this circumstance. Several players need to play much better today to avoid back-to-back losses.

I have no idea what to expect today. Alabama is long and athletic. They play like they don’t have a coach. No organized offense. They make lot of stupid plays. They may kill us., but if our offense improves and they are careless we might have a chance. I don’t think we are getting outcoached this game.

If you're going to be playing equal or better talent, you just can't shoot under 75% from the line.  Under 50%, they were lucky to still be in the game.  Every missed free throw just sucks the life out of the momentum.  Missed free throws now feel like turnovers to me.  Drake only had 10 TO's against Belmont, but each one just felt huge in a close game.  Seriously, I think eight or nine were unforced.  UGH!!

Agreed on the TOs, hammy. I was stunned to see it was only ten.
