What happened to John Meyer? He is no longer listed under athletic communications. The only one listed is the graduate assistant.

He announced three days ago that he was leaving drake. His Twitter bio now says he’s a Media Relations Specialist for the Iowa Wolves.
Definitely another big hit for the athletic department after losing Ty Patton too.

Others who have left recently include Patrick Tomka and Ty Patton.
I don't know what Tomka's official position was, but he was kind of the CFO of the athletic department
Patton was the SID

I was just talking with someone today who used to work with them and he was telling about these staff leaving. Pretty good people and not a good situation that they are leaving. Money is most likely the reason.

I have also been told that Matt Lyons' position has been filled. However, since this isn't yet on the webpage, I won't say who it is.

However, since this isn't yet on the webpage, I won't say who it is. Tim Tesar has been hired to replace Matt Lyons. Tim is a two time Drake graduate and has been working at Drake as a fundraiser for the School of Journalism and the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
