The women's tennis team won the MVC Tournament for the first time in 21 years to get to the NCAA tournament! 

I think the coolest part is that they beat Bradley, Illinois State and Missouri State (in that order). And their last three losses in the regular season? Bradley, Illinois State and Missouri State. Three lil' revenge matches! And they absolutely kicked the Bears in the face in the championship match, 4-0.

Interested to see who they play and what seed they get. Have a feeling they'll end up playing a top seed, so it'll be tough. Selection Show is May 3.

Coach Tran has left for…Colorado State.

Christina Lott, who has been an assistant coach at Drake the last two seasons, has been named head coach.

What an exciting month for Coach Lott! Kristina and Ben got married in early August, so combine your wedding with your first head coaching job in a matter of weeks, how cool for her.
