QB grade would be "incomplete."  I like the way Wendling finished, but on balance, what can you really say about the quarterbacks?

Likewise, the receiver situation is murky, as they didn't get a lot a balls thrown their way early in the schedule. Looked better the last couple of games.

Running backs:  maybe a C.  But that is largely due to the play calls.  Not their fault.

A C would be generous for the O-Line.  Young guys were in over their heads.  I think they can get things cleaned up.

Defense generally gets As and Bs.  However, I did not like the pass coverage late in the Presbyterian game.  I was having flashbacks to South Dakota in '17.

I'll add a C for the coaching staff.  I want to see more attention to detail, and more creative play calls.

Anyone else think De Bruin should get a chance to be the regular punter?  As a D-I fg kicker, however, he lacks consistency and range.

Offense overall Grade - D/F
QB - C  I would like to see Corwin in an injury free season, and not run as much) Thought Wendling did ok
RB - C+ Meis looked solid and Cross was a good ground & pound, but to early point play calls were a head scratcher
WR/TE - INC Not really sure what there is here... lack of passing game and play calls... C Howard had some nice individual efforts but that's about it
OL - D-  The O line was young and the play calling did not help putting them in 3rd in long almost all the time.. can't run inside zone every 1st down play

Defense overall Grade A-/B+
DL-  A- They did a great job against the run, and the pass rush improved throughout the season
LB - A I was impressed with the LB group and thought this was the strongest group team wide, nice to have them all back next year, could improve a bit on pass coverage
DB - B They showed some vulnerability giving up some big play/yards, but overall this is an aggressive group that comes up against the run and will improve

Coaching C - Overall Defense did enough to win all 5 games this year, the offense was not good. Lack of big plays, lack of play calling, lack of time of possession, lack of...
Need to find ways to play to win not play not to lose
