Older Petree girl from Bradley is in the portal. That is all I know. Haven't seen anything about reasons or where she's going. She is originally from the Detroit area and I didn't see anything about her younger sister, who is on the team.

Sure looks like it. That's too bad. She was a solid player probably looking at more minutes next year. Things are getting a bit thin at the point.

Just remember putting your name into the portal doesn't mean you're leaving. She still has the option of coming back to Drake.

Both Petrees are leaving Bradley according to the Peoria Journal Star.  Good players.  Big loss for BU.

Thought I saw where the older Petree committed to Rutgers.  In other MVC news Calip coming back for 6th year at MSU and MSU signed 2 transfers, one a highly touted 6'3' player from Duke and the other a grad transfer guard from Cleveland State who averaged 19 ppg and was the Summit League defensive player of the year last year.  Plus their fan forum says they have their best recruit in the last 10 years coming in next year, a 5'6" point guard.  Expect UNI also to be tough as they lose only Maahs and their talented freshman class really started to come on at end of last year.  We should be even better next year (provided the coaching change does not set us back)  and our freshman can contribute. I would love to see us get a good experienced guard from the transfer portal.  Collier was a good player but her turnovers were a problem so if we can get a good transfer I am ok with her loss. The MVC should be a 2 or 3 bid team next year.  It looks like to me that MSU is setting up for another NCAA run next year (8 seniors) and after that I bet their coach moves on to a P5 school. Then UNI and us may move ahead of them the following year.

Big Win for Coach Pohlman.

I think she'll be a contributor, but she averaged 2 ppg at Iowa.  What makes this a "Big Win"?

She’s a averaging more than 2 pts now. Seems she’s been a nice addition.

I did say in my original post that I thought she'd be a contributor.
