Mandatory masks?

Cutouts of Paul Morrison in every other seat?  Or maybe to economize, they only use Morrisons on the Drake side.  One of him for every game he attended.

There's plenty of room in the stadium to do some social distancing.

Ivy League announced no fall sports last week, Patriot League announced today.

Would Drake or the rest of the PFL bother with a spring football season if this fall gets cancelled?

I can't see why they would do anything more than the bare minimum.

Patty V's other football league isn't yet cancelling games.  I think the PFL will wait and see what they do.

If the MVFC soldiers on...and if Drake isn't taking a plane to Fargo...it would be silly to pull the plug on this season before game #2.

Drake can play its regular season on Sept 3rd, and the FCS national championship on Sept 12th.  Short and sweet.  ;-)

Add the MEAC and CAA to the no fall sports train (plus the A10, which doesn't sponsor football).

The A10's announcement made an odd reference to Dayton football .  


Dayton's other fall sport, football, is governed by the Pioneer Football League. The PFL is one of only two conferences that sponsor football as its only sport. Dayton will not play non-conference football games this fall. Members are currently working with the PFL on decisions related to the regular season.  Similar to other Flyer fall sports, it is presumed that Dayton football will be postponed without a dramatic improvement in the COVID environment.

This appears to be a concern from Dayton or the A10...not the PFL.
