Awesome! We should all give to the Dutch Athletic Club 'cause Garrett might need to wait another year. ha

Well that would be insane. Have we ever had a top 50 player?

Would he be one and done? Sounds like a great player,

He would definitely be one and done. I also have no idea how everything will play out with his waiver, but if he doesn't get one, the thought of a team consisting of our sophomores, Carton, and some of the 2021's we are looking at.... makes me have visions of a potentially dominant team, even in a good valley.

He’ll get a waiver. Guaranteed. Iowa State, while still a Power 5 or 6 program, at this point seems to be in total disarray. Clearly, as DeVries did last year, you can put a program together pretty quickly with transfers and such, but doesn’t seem like a great environment Hoiberg is just going to continue to do the exact same thing and bring in an entire new roster every year. Who knows?

Spoke to someone within the program and it’s realistically between Drake and Iowa State. Though Nebraska is still lurking. This would be unreal....

With everybody bailing out of Iowa State one wouldn't think it would be a great situation to get into. I don't know how good he is, but presumably he could showcase his talent here.

He’s AJ Green, but even better. I’ll lose my mind if we get him.

He was the 37th ranked player in the country. He’s damn good.

If dj carton comes to drake he’ll be unstoppable in the Missouri valley. The question is why is he interested in Coming to drake?

Him and Jermaine Marshall would be a great fit for drake. We could use both players with athleticism which drake lacks of

Close to home and can play with a potential NBA talent at center in Robbins. Also a chance to win his league. Scouts are already showing up for Robbins and they’d have their eyes on him too.

Scouts already had their eyes on him. He was a projected 1st rounder if he had finished the season at Ohio St.

I was speaking on why Drake would be attractive. Hes clearly an NBA talent but it’s not like Drake is an obscure program without another prospect to compliment.
