All practices are open to the public, so it's a good chance to see how the team is shaping up.

Twelve practices, plus the spring game, remain on the schedule.  Are the Bulldogs going forward with these, or is the university and/or government shutting it down?

The Centers for Disease Control is recommending that people avoid gatherings of 50 or more.  I'm concerned how this might affect the holy trinity of springtime:  football practices/Relays at the stadium, Tulip Time, and strip clubs ( in areas where government has claimed emergency powers).

Still a lot of stuff up in the air. I know they are looking at continuing spring ball when the okay is given. Maybe late April, or in May? Since you can schedule when you want (the 15 practices), it does give you some flexibility.
Spring break this week, so nothing will be decided for a while.

Drake is going to online classes as of Monday...so I'm not even sure if all the players will remain in Des Moines.

Spring ball is done...I saw some pictures yesterday of guys working out on their own in their garages, pushing cars, etc. Kind of sad to see.

Last year I think about 68 guys stayed the summer to work out and take a class or two, and I would expect about that same number again this summer...once things get a little more back to normal.

BTW....the only school in the league to get a full spring ball in was San Diego. I'm so glad they were able to get a little extra help since they obviously need it.....

Amusing to read Lindsey shedding crocodile tears over his offense.  I think they'll come around.

With that offensive line back...plus Martinez, Smith, Spadone, Kincaid, and others...I think they'll be okay.
