Another monster 2 handed jam today, in a heartbreaking loss at the buzzer to #3 ranked Morgan Park. In addition to the track meet with Noah, I'd like to see a jam fest against Samm Jones!

Other than the jam, how did he look? Good. Handles the ball well and good, quick passes, to go along with his quickness and speed. In Friday night's game he started slow in the first quarter, then boom....a bucket and two quick 3s for 8 points within a couple of minutes. They had a game Fri., Sat. and Sunday against 3 of the top 10 teams and were 2-1. Beat Homewood-Flossmore and Evanston, then lost the one today to Morgan Park, literally at the buzzer. Not sure of his point totals in any of the games. Never saw any box scores or post game recaps.

LOL.....just saw the Sun-Times write up on the game. It said he led team with 21. I guess a point here or there doesn't matter much....

I would say he looks exactly as his highlight videos show. Explosive and just glides at time, especially in transition. Loves to get up and try to throw down. He had one where he grabbed a loose ball in the lane and went up from stationery and almost dunked.
Morgan Park has the best player in the state in Junior Adam Miller. Bolingbrook started with their other D1 guard, Cochran going to Northern Illinois, on him and he struggled, giving Miller 16 points in the first half. Yesufu guarded him for most of the second half and did a much better job, even while giving up 5-6 inches. Miller hit the winner when Yesufu was switched off him.
Two other quick notes - the broadcasters pronounced his last name a few different ways, so I'm not sure on the true pronunciation. Also I believe Drake has offered Bolingbrook 2020 guard Darius Buford. I wasn't overly impressed with him today, but you can tell why coaches may like him, very smooth and explosively athletic at times.

88-70 first round playoff win last night. Held scoreless in first half, but came back with 11 in the second half, along with 4 boards and another mind blowing stuff!!!!

+xJoe was named to the Sun-Times 20 man all-area team. Congrats. link Some really good seniors on the list who are still uncommitted, although not sure how their classroom performance is. Also, a good amount of outstanding juniors looking for a home. The kid from Evanston is committed to So. Illinois. Wonder if the Hinson thing will change his mind. He's a player. Leading his team into the Elite Eight on Tuesday.

A.P. All State Honorable Mention, Class 4A. Kind of surprising. I thought that he was at least going to be Second Team.

Don't get it.....Not 1st, 2nd or 3rd team, or even Special Mention IBCA All-State teams. The kid was a mainstay of one of the top teams in the state all year and always mentioned as one of the top PGs in the state.
