Don't know if it has been mentioned else where but I just saw Benny Morrison is coaching LBs at Bowling Green this season for first year HC Mike Jenks. Could be another Drake grad at HC somewhere down the line....

I got a chance to see Ash's Rutgers Scarlet Knights last week and will see Creighton's Eastern Michigan Eagles tomorrow. I hope to see Partridge's Florida Atlantic Owls later this year.

Doeren's NC State improved to 4-1 with a 10-3 win over Notre Dame in a hurricane. Ash's Rutgers lost 78-0 at home to Michigan. Rutgers had half as many yards as Michigan had points and didn't move into positive yardage for good until midway through the third quarter. They didn't get a first down until 9 minutes were left.

Partridge fired today by FAU

Was at Charlie's last game yesterday in Murfreesboro against MTSU. Unfortunately the Owls didn't bring their defense from Boca Raton.

Glad I got to see him Creighton and Ash this year though on the D football road tour.

I noticed that The Athletic's ownership is killing off the NY Times sports department.  Bummer for small colleges in the NYC area.
