| I believe that's how you old whippersnappers would post this game thread. 
Pivotal matchup in the Valley Saturday night. How do you think it's going down?
It will be interesting to see the Kyle Weems vs Rayvonte Rice/Ben Simons matchup.
Hopefully they are without big man Caleb Patterson again. That'd be a major book to their front court depth and we wouldn't have to collapse on someone as much.
Missouri State is also only one of 12 teams in the nation with 8+ road victories this year. No BCS Conference team can claim such a thing, and Creighton and Wichita State are also up there. (Stolen from the MSU website)
We've got our work cut out for us this game. Let's get it done boys!

| I actually think we can pull this one out even though I doubt we'll be favored to win. We can't really shoot much more worse than last game so it's all uphill from here!  And I'm really looking forward to watching Weems play.

| In a typical winter this would be nothing. Just leave a few minutes early and take it easy. Or leave really early, go as fast you can thus giving you time to call a tow truck to pull you out of the ditch ... if by chance you don't go in the ditch and get to the Knapp super early, go to the West End and have a Bulldog Burger. Then do one of DT's famous shots.

That sucks. I hate it when a short handed team comes in to play Drake. By short handed, I mean missing a regular or key player. 
....but, since we don't have Seth, I guess we are still short handed ourselves in a way....so I'll forgive Mo State this time....

| Drake down 15-22 at the first media break.
Drake opened the game shooting 4 three-pointers, making 1 of them.
With Simons out, we have a Judd Welfringer sighting. Early impressions are he's more active and hustles on defense as opposed to Hawley. He's 1 for 1 from three for us with a quick shot with little jump/hop to it.
Despite the man-to-man defense, the Bulldogs look hesitant to attack, instead settling for poor shots.

Hawley's 3 point shot is the first Drake field goal since the 3 minute mark of the 1st half according to MSU announcers. Sad.
With the extended minutes Cory Parker, David Smith, and Judd Welfringer look to be getting, it's obvious Mark Phelps has given up as well.
