"They [Binghamton] have a good program and it's on the rise just like Arizona State was when I got there," Woods said. "It's always good to go somewhere where guys want to compete and bring some prestige to the school. It's cool to be a part of that. They have good fans, too. They sell out all their games. They're real excited about their basketball over there. It's going to be fun."

"It hasn't been a straight path or what I expected, but I figure things happen for a reason," Woods said. "You've got to do what you have to do. You always want to make sure you're in the best situation to reach your goals because I always wanted to play professionally. No matter how that road is whether it's a straight path or you've got bounce from school to school or however it works out for you you've got to do it. I don't regret anything or say, 'Man, I wish things happened differently.' You've got to go out there and compete and play because there are so many people once you play at this level you realize that so many people have the same aspirations as you. ... "No matter how you get there as long as you get there and you can reach a level where you're playing professionally or you can look back and say, 'You know what? I have a pretty solid body of work.' I can look in the mirror and say I was proud of the work I put in and the effort I put in."
