| Drake Seeded Seventh At State Farm MVC Tournament

DES MOINES, IOWA -- The Drake University women's basketball team finished the regular season with a 14-14 overall record and a 7-11 Missouri Valley Conference record and will be the seven seed in this week's State Farm MVC Women's Basketball Tournament. The Bulldogs will take on Evansville, which is seeded 10th, in an 8:30 p.m. matchup on Thursday.

| | As we've seen all season long, anybody can beat anybody in the MVC. I think Drake will win against Evansville and they've got a good chance against Creighton, if they player more like they did in the first 35 mins at Omaha than at home. |
