I had a chance to listen to the first 10-15 minutes of the radio show last night.

Nothing too exciting. Coach Phelps said that we need to get stronger, tougher, more physical on defense, and better on the defensive glass. Interesting that when discussing rebounding, he only mentioned a need to improve on the defensive boards. We definitely weren't a great defensive rebounding team, but it was offensive rebounding that we were very, very poor at.

Either that or we will have realized that it is like beating a dead horse.

If there is no concerted effort to improve offensive rebounding you can already mail in for your thursday tickets to next year's conf tourney.

But hey, at least on Thursday Drake can grab 2 offensive boards the entire gamee and still win on a last second shot, right?

It is a dead horse because we watched him limp around on a broken leg for two years
until UNI shot him and put him out of his misery.

I hear MP is enrolled in remedial offense and rebounding for the handicapped.

Sorry, I just watched the recorded version of the Drake/INU pig stink game. No plays. Point guards looking back at the coach after passing half court...that llooked like my fourth grade team. Players that were over practiced with no legs. You can't tell me, under any circumstances, that bad coaching didn't contribute to that scoring drought.

It makes mine tired thinking about how we still have at least two more years to go.

Come on DT, you know better than this. Aside from JY, name one player on Drake who would start for UNI.
Then, come up with 2 more who would even be in the regular rotation.

Tomorrow has arrived and the sun is up.
