| Can anyone shed some extra light on DJ Haley? I was snooping VCU's board after someone posted that he was making a visit on Saturday. Drake really needs more depth down low with the undersized class coming in.

From brief research Iowa State offered to him. He' visited VCU and Richmond. The other boards mentioned he could be a candidate for a full academic scholarship.
6'11" 220 lbs Scary to think about someone like that paired up with SVD in the front court.

| I haven't been able to find a lot about him. Sounds like he's somewhat of a "project", but with a lot of upside. Athletic and aggressive......I like that in a big man. Plus, he's a 3.8 student.....perfect for Drake. He'll fit right in with our guys.

| Same results here...found that he's a 3.8 student. I found a VCU chatboard that talked four pages full about his visit there last weekend.
He does indeed sound like a "Drake" guy...and a class act. I agree that he'd be a GREAT add for the 2010 class. Some sites are calling him 6'11" 225. Sounds like he's very athletic. I heard that he likes to try to dunk every shot! We haven't seen much of that over the years!
He's averaging 13.7pts and 10.3 boards from what I could find...
He will be at the Evansville game Saturday...and would be nice for us to throw him a welcome of some sort...if we are to believe we need to compete with VCU for this fine lad.

And those stats come from a high school team that is apparently playing a 12-13 player rotation...so would seem those numbers have some room to go up...
