| So I wrote this long thread out, then it didn't post. Sigh. Well, anyway DJ Haley is 6-10 and 225 pounds. We want him at Drake and apparently, right now it's between Drake and Virginia Commonwealth, who he visited last weekend.
VCU went all out with a cheer "DJ Haley, Clap, Clap, clap clap clap.... this shows that not only did the students know he was there, they wanted him to go to VCU and made a point to let him know that.
We're going to do the same. I set it up so the students will hold up a sign during time outs...
NOW, what do the signs say?
Don't forget, we want to give the seniors a hearty sendoff as well.
Anyway, what are your thoughts??

| He looks smart... it's the glasses. Well, this means he'll be easy to pick out, that's for sure. Here's to hoping!
Maybe that's something we could work into the sign. Something with the glasses and bein' smart.

| The young man seems to be a gem .. very intelligent with a 3.8 gpa, well mannered, good people, and all that cool stuff. I'd love to see him kick'n it @ Drake. Sounds like a great fit for Drake.

That seems as good as anything I can think of. Something like, "Haley's Commit is coming!" ???
Maybe we can pipe in Madonna's "Hey Mr. DJ" while the students are waving their signs...

Hey phillyfan ... as I'm sure you are aware, Penn has an incoming freshman from Des Moines Roosevelt High School named Dau Jok. GREAT KID !!! His game has exploded this year, not that he wasn't good before, but he has really improved. Good luck to Penn .. except in landing Mr. Haley. Didn't Penn fire their coach about a month ago?
