| I'm sorry to hear the news. I wonder why he's not returning. Possible answers might be:
A. Injury/surgery (although he played with it v. Jax)
B. Quit school...joining a monastery.
C. Alien abduction
D. Disillusionment with the program and CC |

| SuperDawg10 (12/16/2009) Peter is not coming back.
Here's hoping he ends up at Northwestern, a school that Scout.com said had interest in him during h.s. I will recommend him for the Lurking Dog Sr. Memorial Alumni Scholarship. It's an imaginary scholarship, but it's very, very prestigious. |

| Lurkin Dog,
You crack me up. My guess is he goes to Lawrence where is brother plays. He would have to sit a year if it is a D1 school.

| Are you saying Dan B is a Jayhawk? I didn't know.
Lurking Dog Sr., who lived in the Sunflower State, would've had a definite opinion on chosing between KU and Northwestern. 'Would've gently counseled the young man against hazardous eight-hour drives to Lawrence into the glare of the setting sun.
Anyway, KU just hired Turner Gill. He kinda wears his religion on his sleeve. "Once burned, twice shy" might be good advice. |

| OK...
I'm thinking he belongs at a big time school with a big time staff. With good rehab after surgery, maybe a walk-on opportunity will be there. |

| | I don't think so. I think he is looking at a D1 FBS school or two. Be interesting to see how it all pans out. How did he injure the shoulder? |
