| The Bulldogs # 186 low ranking for an 8 win Div 1 team may be the result of the quality of Drake's competition .
Grand View is not a Div 1 team and according to Sagarin's ratings -out of 245 teams
Valparaiso was ranked at the bottom at # 245
Campbell at # 240 Davidson # 229 San Diego # 226 Marist #216
Although this lack of quality opponents may help explain Drake's relatively low ranking nothing can take away from Drake's outstanding season and the exemplary efforts of the players and coaches.
