| | If you read the entire article it reads to me like Meehan would be a potential recruit. His brother has been a very positive influence in his life. Why wouldn't he consider Drake? To say 'this school and that school has shown some interest' is great, but that's the way of recruiting. Having an 'interest' and making a serious offer are light years apart. I say odds may be better than when we think when it comes to Meehan coming to Drake. |

It was last month for JC players. High school players may sign with scholarship programs beginning Feb 3.

A strong base of Mid-Suburban League players at Drake also had an impact on Klosowicz.
I would like to see Drake reestablish that kind of a base in the Sunflower League.

| Although I am unaware of any commitment, quarterback Julian Sipiora recently made a campus visit. His St. Viator team made an early exit from the Illinois 6A playoffs, losing to eventual state champ Cary-Grove.

| O'Fallon, Illinois WR Chevaughn Lawrence has reportedly been recruited by Drake football coaches. However, he may play basketball...not sure if he would play hoops at Drake or some other school.
update: committed to Army for football.

| | Just received news that Kolby Knuth, LB from Appleton North H.S, Appleton, Wisconsin has committed to Drake. Congrats to Coach Creighton. Kolby, a 6-2, 240lb linebacker was a Division 1 (highest class in WI) All-State LB. Great kid - great catch by Drake. |
