| Scout.com has an article that says Drake is involved with Michael Bradley. Scout rates him at 4 Stars and the #16 center in the nation!
Here is a link to his scout profile... LINK
Looks like the type of player that has the ability to alter the flow of the game.
Below is a quote from Scout.com analyst Dave Telep
DT's Breakdown: It's tough to "stumble" across 6-10 guys but we did in Orlando. This guy averaged 2 points as a sophomore but toed the line with Andre Drummond. He's our big man find of the summer like Damontre Harris was last winter.
Schools Involved: Tennessee State, Drake, VCU, Middle Tennessee, Eastern Kentucky, Memphis and Oral Roberts |

| Sounds like a good one, maybe a late bloomer. Looks like Memphis has already offered.

| I'd say Drake has no shot if Memphis has offered, but who knows what kind of program they'll have. Maybe they'll continue as a national power, or maybe they'll fall back to a Creighton-type level with good (not great) teams in a great arena.

I hope the coaching staff does not give up quite so easily. You just never know what a young man might be looking for....Drake might be his perfect fit.

| Mecha, I don't know who you are but, with a defetest attitude like yours I don't want to. Drake has NO Shot because Memphis has offered????
From all I can tell, this staff is recruiting kids with talent that Drake has never even considered in the past. Sure, when you play with the Big Boys you don't get everyone you want but WE shouldn't even try?
By YOUR standards we didn't have a shot at Ben Simons because Providence offered him.
Boy, wouldn't it be sad if we "fell" to a level of Creighton year after year. We could only be so lucky.
If I over-reacted to your comment I apologize.
"MOST" on this board want Drake to do well, and I put you in that camp.

| I would guess there are numerous players who would have no interest in playing at Memphis. Maybe it's wrong, but my impression of a Memphis player is somebody who is probably not very smart and has no interest in going to college other than to play Basketball. If Drake is recruiting this guy, I assume he has a little bit on the ball and is probably a capable student who has an interest in getting an education.
Don't pass up the shot. |

| I was trying to say more about Memphis than Drake. They were a national power, but might not stay that way. Drake won't win many head-to-head recruiting battles against national powers (especially when the recruit is in the power's state), but they should stack up if Memphis slips a few notches.
Drake certainly has a lot for a recruit like Bradley to like. Strong academics. Small, family feel. A good distance from home, but still close enough to drive to in a day. Three straight winning seasons. Tons of open playing time in 2010. Hopefully Bradley looks past the name of the school recruiting him, and finds the place that fits him best.

| The Memphis that Bradley would be attending is not nearly the Memphis that we have seen of lately. Memphis is falling apart...Calipari leaving and news today is that they are losing their Final Four season because of the Dozier SAT stuff.
Expect a big downward turn for the Tigers.
Question: How do we play better?

| On Bradley's scout.com profile there is an article titled
AAU Nationals: Day Four Rundown
Bradley, Mills are intriguing prospects
It is just for insiders. Can someone with access to that article tell us more about Bradley's game?
His picture screams "shot blocker" but i haven't found anything else on him. |

If you're interested, this has a lot of recaps from Bradley's AAU and high school games.

| Ballgame2012 (8/20/2009) On Bradley's scout.com profile there is an article titled AAU Nationals: Day Four Rundown.....It is just for insiders. Can someone with access to that article tell us more about Bradley's game?
Here's a rundown:
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Michael Bradley. Ever heard of him? We hadn’t either prior to Thursday.......Doesn’t even start for his AAU team, which is of zero concern. With this young man we’re talking about the long term, big picture. Is he raw? Yep. Does he have a reputation? Not really. He’s about 6-10, extremely long and we know he’s a competitive guy.....Bradley is the type of prospect without the hype or name but gets you excited when you see him because of the long term potential........He’s got excellent grades, comes from a small but winning high school team and can block shots......He’s the guy the big colleges can’t take because they don’t have time to wait on his development and their fan bases scratch their heads when they recruit a zero rep guy.

It says he'll be visiting DU the weekend of 9/26.
This would be a huge, huge get for Drake.
I'm not going to beg, but I am going to pray.

| I WILL BEG.
Michael. Drake is a VERY special place.
You will LOVE our kids and our President.
Dr. Maxwell is a BIG fan.
Drake is the only school in the Country that took the lead in having the courage to say you MUST be serious about getting an education to get in.
It's working. No Thugs Allowed. Come on in Babe, we'd love to have you.
Once you commit, the flood gates will open and we will become a POWER.

| Great to Hear!
The leadership here at Drake is and has been making great efforts to improve the University over the past few years. Walk around and you see everything is new.
"Building a Winning Legacy" is not just a motto. I see it happening, and it's all flowing from the top down.
Bradley would be an awesome addition to the Drake community and another step on the upward track. |
