Frank's Pizza will close 6/28 and move to a new place on Ingersoll. Too bad the Drake neighborhood loses a good restaurant, but at least they'll still have a presence in the area by selling their pizzas at local businesses. I know they were a good supporter of Drake basketball at games and on the radio, and I hope that support continues.

I really like Frank's Pizza, but the Drake neighborhood wasn't a great location for them, I don't think. College kids like cheap pizza....Frank's is very good, but not cheap.

| | Too bad for the Drake student body. Jeff just mentioned Frank's the other day when I asked him where my pizza dollars would be going come mid August. Is there any other decent pizza in the Drake area? |

He could always do the wedgies at Paul Revere's. Frank's won't be right by Drake anymore, but it won't be more than about a mile and a half away. I think that Paul Revere's is the only pizza place left in the immediate neighborhood, but Big Tomato is about a mile south (on Ingersoll)....very good stuff, but kind of expensive for college students.

| Had Frank's twice, sucked and overpriced. I'd rather eat the arsch out of a dead water buffalo.

Sounds like the opinion of someone who has tried them both.

| Frank's was kinda mediocre and seemed to rely more on gimmick Pizzas and atmosphere than on making something really good. I'm not sure that Pizza is as big a seller around college campuses as it once was. You can eat Pizza for every meal on campus with your food contract.
Don't pass up the shot. |

| | Well, thanks for setting me straight guys. Jeff always has loved wedgies. Had a slice of Paul Reveres at West End and it was horrible. Wedgies are the best bet. |
